Who we are
This website, kasradash.com (the "site"), is operated by Kasra Dash ("we", "us"), an entrepreneur and SEO consultant based in Manchester, UK. For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Kasra Dash is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. You can contact us about anything in this policy at [email protected].
What we collect and why
Contact and lead forms
The form on our contact page is provided by HighLevel Inc. ("GoHighLevel", served from api.leadconnectorhq.com) and is embedded on this site. When you submit the form we collect the details you enter — typically your name, email address, phone number and information about your business or enquiry. We use this information to respond to your enquiry, provide what you requested and, where you have agreed, to send you relevant follow-up messages. GoHighLevel processes this data on our behalf.
Newsletter
The site no longer hosts a newsletter signup; community membership runs through The New Search on Skool (skool.com), which has its own privacy policy. If you previously joined the mailing list we hold your email address under your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. We do not sell your email address or share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Embedded videos
Some pages embed videos hosted on YouTube. When you view or play an embedded video, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect data about your viewing, your device and, if you are signed in, your Google account, under Google's privacy policy. We do not control this processing.
Hosting and analytics
Our hosting provider automatically records standard server logs — including IP addresses, browser type and pages requested — to deliver the site, keep it secure and produce aggregate traffic statistics. This information is not used to identify individual visitors.
Our lawful bases
- Consent — the newsletter and any optional marketing follow-up.
- Legitimate interests — responding to enquiries, keeping the site secure and understanding aggregate site usage.
- Contract — where you engage us for consulting or related services.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only with the service providers that run this site and our business: HighLevel Inc. (forms, lead management and email), Google (embedded YouTube videos) and our hosting provider. Each acts under its own terms and, where it processes data for us, under a data processing agreement. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
Some of these providers (including HighLevel Inc. and Google) store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are protected by safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the International Data Transfer Agreement / standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry and lead data for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Server logs are retained for short periods by our hosting provider. We delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to our processing of it;
- receive a portable copy of data you provided to us;
- withdraw consent at any time, where consent is our lawful basis.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies of its own. Embedded third-party content — the GoHighLevel forms and YouTube videos described above — may set cookies when you interact with it. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so may stop the embedded forms or videos from working.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed, and significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
